Michael R. Goodfriend

Michael R. Goodfriend is President and Founder of Goodfriend & Associates, Inc. a firm founded in 1989 that specializes in facilitating improvement in corporate performance through a focus on strategy, teamwork, leadership and process excellence. He has served clients that are rapid growth companies and Fortune 500 companies in the following industries: energy, information technology, telecommunications, restaurants, manufacturing and professional services.

His projects have included:

Facilitated team chartering session for an organizational redesign team of an upstream energy organization
Facilitated owner/contractor project management alignment and team building sessions for $275 million "green field" chemical plant.
Designed strategic planning process and facilitated strategic development and planning sessions for several rapid growth companies expecting to achieve $1 billion in revenues within three to five years.
Coached a technical leader to turnaround his interpersonal skills and improve his leadership performance.

He was previously employed at Price Waterhouse as a Human Resource Manager and Audit Manager. Mike has a B.S. in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University.

He has served on the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Houston as an officer and committee chair. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Houston Chapter of the Texas CPA Society. He has been involved in First Colony Little League and his teams helped raise money to sponsor teams in the First Colony Dream League (for special needs children).
