Mike Goodfriend founded Goodfriend & Associates in 1989 after 9 years with Price Waterhouse as an Audit and Human Resources Manager.  

His only consulting offering was the Birkman Method at the time he founded the business.  The Birkman Method continues to be one of a number of important leadership and teamwork development tools that Mike utilizes in helping leaders and leadership teams improve.  Mike has received the advanced certification as a Senior Birkman Consultant and chairs the Houston Birkman User Group -- a community of Birkman certified consultants. 

Mike has served clients in industries including oil and gas, manufacturing, distribution, professional services, nonprofits, healthcare and banking.  He has worked with many types of business units and business functions. 

Mike served on the Boards of the Houston CPA Society and Big Brothers Big Sisters. He also has coached Little League and Pony League baseball teams.  Mike also plays adult baseball in a local recreational league. 

Mike received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University.
